It’s been a hot minute since I’ve played as Command & Conquer game. I used to be obsessed with Red Alert and Red Alert 2 especially. I remember in college when we had the LAN connection and we’d play with people in my dorm suite. Oh those were the days. Anywho, since that time I haven’t gotten back into that RTS type of game and I decided with this new mobile version, it was time to get back in.

EA has gotten a lot of flack for their microtransitions and general bastardizing of franchises but so far, I have to say, I’m having a blast. The game runs very smooth on my 6th generation iPad with the animations working as they’re supposed to. The gameplay is fast and furious with matches lasting only a couple of minutes. While I miss the good ol days where I could build a base for hours and slowly destroy my enemies however I wanted, whenever I wanted; I get why they went this route with it being a mobile game. They want people to idly play while they are supposed to be doing work or paying attention to their spouses, whatever.

For now, EA has been actively listening to the community for feedback on how to improve things and it SEEMS like they are making amends for their past behavior. Time will tell as to what the future will hold, but for the moment, Command & Conquer: Rivals is an entertaining good time.

BAD IDEA BEGINS IN 2021!

If there's one thing COVID did it was screw up the comic industry for a time being not to mention the complete failure of Diamond to do a damn thing about it. Things seems to be getting back on track and I am very happy to see that BAD IDEA has not suffered from it. I...

The Craft: Legacy join the coven and watch the new trailer!

The Craft is a movie that still holds up today. Before all the teeny-bop and sparkling vampires it was cool to be a brooding teenage magic user. Well it has garnered enough cult love over the years to deem this sequel necessary. Will it hold up to the original film?...

Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend is coming to Switch this December!

Growing up I did not have a Nintendo, I believe my first real console was the OG Playstation. I did however have a Gameboy and I do remember where my love of Final Fantasy began. The Final Fantasy Legend series (1-3) will be available this winter in a three game...
