The Geekly Gods are truly smiling upon us lately. Not only did we get a ton of Star Wars reveals over the weekend, today we’re getting our first look at Swamp Thing. The DC Universe exclusive show will make its premier on May 31st and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s a true tease at the character but with Doug Liman behind the camera and Derek Mears in the suit, I know we’re in for a heck of a fun time. Did I mention that James Wan was producing? Yep!
SWAMP THING follows Abby Arcane as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. When unexplainable and chilling horrors emerge from the murky marsh, no one is safe. Based on the DC characters originally written and drawn by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. A new original series #DCUSWAMPTHING premieres May 31. New episodes weekly, only on DC Universe.
