Things seem to be really coming together for the upcoming “reboot”, if you can actually call it that, of the Terminator series! After it was announced last week that a TV series would be created to tie into the upcoming trilogy directed by Alan Taylor, news has hit that the film has finally cast its Sarah Connor! Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke has landed the part and now it will be determined who will play John Connor. Here is what the plan for both the TV series and films are rumored to be as of now:
[box_light]The TV series will follow a critical moment from the first Terminator film (1984) and, where the film’s story goes one way, the upcoming series will take the same moment in a completely different direction. As the rebooted film trilogy and the new TV series progress, the two narratives will intersect with each other in some surprising and dramatic ways.[/box_light]
Also original Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to return to the role that launched his career. Clarke has worked with director Alan Taylor so it is good to know that Clarke and her director already have a good working relationship. I am really excited for this multi-media adventure and I am always ready for anything Terminator related, so bring on Judgement Day!
Stay tooned 😛
