2014 will stand as the year of two Hercules movies. Bret Ratner and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson are currently working on Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Which will serve as a more realistic take on the supposed demi-God. On the other side of the spectrum, is Renny Harlin and Kellan Lutz‘s film, Hercules: The Legend Begins.
Today, we get our first teaser at the latter. It looks pretty much like the Spartacus television show, without the blood and sex. Also, there are no fantasy elements in the teaser either. Let’s hope that they change that. Check it out below!
I’m hoping that Harlin doesn’t dissapoint me. A lot of people give him flack as a director, but Nightmare on Elm Stree 3: Dream Warriors is my fave Freddy film, plus The Long Kiss Goodnight is amazing. So, I’ll reserve my judgments til I see a full-length trailer. Hercules: The Legend Begins opens next March and also stars: Gaia Weiss, Liam McIntyre, Scott Adkins, Roxanne McKee and Luke Newberry.
