I’ve always been a fan of the works of Houdini. The master escape artist is legendary for the feats he’s performed and now we’re going to get a deeper look at the character thanks to The History Channel. Adrien Brody will star in the titular role in a two part mini series. Check out the first trailer below!

The two-night scripted miniseries HOUDINI follows the epic tales of Harry Houdini as he emerges as America’s first bonafide world-renowned superstar. A thrilling ride throughout Harry’s psyche, HOUDINI delves deep behind the curtain into his life through his stunts, his visions and his mastery of illusion. Joining Brody is Kristen Connolly (House of CardsThe Cabin the Woods) as Bess Houdini, the love of Harry’s life and right hand when it came to some of his most amazing feats, and Evan Jones (A Million Ways to Die in the WestThe Book of EliGangster Squad) as Jim Collins, Harry’s assistant and confidant.

Houdini will air for two nights on The History Channel starting September 1st. The mini-series will star: Adrien Brody, Kristen Connolly and Evan Jones.
