Honestly, I hate to write these things up. It’s never easy to do and to try and culminate a person’s influence over cinema in a paragraph is impossible. It comes with a heavy hand that I report director John Singleton has passed away. The man’s made some truly epic films including: Boyz n the Hood, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Shaft, and Higher Learning just to name a few. He was only 51 years old. Just another reminder to always be appreciative of life because you truly never know when it could end. Damn.
