At the end of Jurassic Park 3, Dr. Grant vowed that he wouldn’t be going back to the island built by John Hammond. Actor, Sam Neil, still holds true to that statement. When asked if he was going to take part in Jurassic World, he had this to say:

Look, you never say no,” Neill told them. “I think there’s a whole new cast and a whole new look at things, and I think that’s great. As I said, I’d never say no, but I wish them… well, I’m sure it’s going to be great, but they don’t need me.

It will be a shame that he won’t be a part of the upcoming Colin Trevorrow film, but luckily, we’re going to be getting Chris Pratt! Pratt will be acting along his Zero Dark Thirty co-star, Bryce Dallas Howard; whose character is described as a “smart corporate scientist.” Pratt will be a “rugged ex-milatary man.” This should work out well for the Star Lord of Guardians of the Galaxy!
