I’m a huge fan of viral marketing campaigns, when they’re done right. The Cloverfield viral campaign was completely amazing. It took you on a dark journey through a monster created by radioactive slurpee sludge. For the upcoming Jurassic World film, directed by Colin Trevorrow; it looks like they’ll be going the viral route as well.

The Jurassic World viral site found HERE, explores the journey of Sanjay Masrani (Irrfan Khan). You learn about his dealings with oil and mining. His fortunes took him to expand his empire by buying up International Genetics Technologies (InGen) after the death of Dr. Hammod in 1997. From there, he worked on making a fully functional Jurassic World on Isla Nublar.

One curious thing of note on the site is that there is a countdown clock that says it will end at 9pm EST on Thanksgiving Day. This just so happens to coincide with a football game that’s airing on NBC. Expect to see a trailer at that time. While you’re waiting for that, check out some teaser images from the Masrani website.
