Looks like the next chapter in the DC animated film universe will be an Aquaman origin story! Justice League: Throne of Atlantis will be very loosely adapted from the New 52 crossover of the same title BUT since Aquaman was not introduced in the first chapter, War, it looks like DC and WB are doing things right by the King of Atlantis by giving him his very own origin movie!
I really like the idea behind this and I hope that it stirs up enough positive reactions that DC moves forward with giving Arthur Curry a live-action movie of his own. That’s it if they can actually get around to officially announcing that Jason Mamoa is playing the character…
