Disney will most likely be using Mark Hamill to don the green lightsabre again in the next batch of Star Wars films, but in the meantime, Mark Millar and Matthew Vaughn will be using him for Millar’s film adaptation of his comic series, The Secret Service. In the comic, Hamill gets abducted and luckily when Millar and Watchmen artist, Dave Gibbons, drew him in the role; Hamill was a good sport and let them use his likeness.

The Secret Service serves as the 2nd collaboration between Millar and Vaughn, the two previously worked together to bring Kick-Ass to the screen. The movie will be Vaughn’s next movie, as he dropped out of directing X-Men: Days of Future Past. There isn’t any news of a release date as of now, but we will keep you posted as we get more info over here at DFAT!
