What exactly is The Avengers Project? The mystery has the nerd world abuzz today after the two companies announced a team-up by releasing a cryptic trailer for what looks to be an upcoming video game. I am speculating that we will see a MMORPG from Square featuring the stable of Marvel characters. Am I excited for this? Not so much. While I am a fan of those types of games, I also believe that it is time to put out a decent Avengers game that we can all enjoy without having to rely on the world of MMORPG’s. Not saying I don’t want to see multiplayer as an aspect of the game, I just would rather see a more classic video game when it comes to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Who knows, all I know is that I am excited to see what the companies will announce in the wake of the trailer below!
