Captain america 2 The winter soldier bannerThe final (at least I think I can promise this one is the last, of course if they make a Batroc the Leaper one then I would be so wrong) character poster for Captain America: The Winter Soldier has been released. It features Emily VanCamp‘s Sharon Carter, whom we know very little about and I can’t even recall seeing her in any of the trailers. I’m wondering what role Carter will play in the film, which I’m sure is a larger one than we have been lead to believe thus far.

Here’s a new featurette showing off the main villain of the film, The Winter Solider!

Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits theaters on April 4th!

Agents of SHIELD vs Deathlok posterThe Marvel Studios movies aren’t the only ones that get teaser posters, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has released one as well! It features Deathlok, and hints at the inevitable showdown between the team and their old friend Mike Peterson! According to Brett Dalton (Agent Ward) the best is yet to come:

On the cameos..

“I’m constantly surprised at the guest stars. We’ve had Jaimie Alexander, and Bill Paxton, we will have Patton Oswalt. That means our show is really something worthwhile if those people want to come on.”

On what’s to come…

“It takes place in episode 18. Can I tell you a single thing about it? No. But it’s after Captain America 2, so see that first. The world itself has changed because of the events of Captain America 2. I’m particularly proud of the last half of our season. We started in one place and we ended in a different place. What’s really cool is our show takes into account the events of Captain America 2…it takes this really cool turn and…I just can’t say anymore other than I’m really, really happy with the way it goes, and that we saved the best for last.”

Head on over to VH1 if you want to listen to the full interview with Dalton! According the recent Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. presentation at Paleyfest, the Cap 2 crossover will air on April 8th.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on Tuesday April 1st at 8pmEST, on ABC.
