He-Man is one of the most famous cartoon characters to come out of the 80’s, but we haven’t seen a full feature movie based on the hero since 1987!!! But now, what began as a Kickstarter will now be a full-fledged fan-film and perhaps the most powerful movie in the universe!!! I am pretty excited to see this come to fruition! Director Daniel Benedict is a HUGE Masters of the Universe geek and I wish him the best as he and his team put together this exciting project!
I really like the intricate costumes that they are using for the characters, especially the use of Battleground Teela, it really brings an authentic feel to the movie! So while Mattel keeps dragging their heels on a REAL He-Man movie, AT LEAST some uber-fans are doing their best to being this 80’s icon to the screen!
