Though it has been almost a month since NYCC happened, I only just got this on Halloween so it is perfect for N7 day!

This exclusive ship model is a gunmetal color and is one of 250, total. If you didn’t snag it at NYCC, you’re probably out of luck or going to have to spend a lot of money to get one. However, if the color isn’t precious to you, biowarestore.com still has a limited edition (1500 made) silver cruiser ($60) and a normal ship model that is not limited edition ($45).

The box doesn’t look super special except it reminds you that you’re about to join a very, very small club and is kind of a keepsake of its own, though it is made of cardboard.

More than meets the eye.

I’m not sure what I was expecting from the ship except that it was going to be cool, it was going to be gunmetal in color and it was going to be an alliance cruiser vessel.

The color is spot on. The actual ship model is metal and is kind of heavy. Also mind yourself as you handle it because the front pointy things could probably kill someone. Or a Reaper.

Keep out of the reach of Children. No, really, they'll put their eye out.

It is small, but if you’re going to fit an entire collection of ships in your Normandy cabin, you need to be mindful of space. Though, that being said, Enkindlers help me if they release a limited edition Destiny Ascension. The level of detail, however, is good, considering everything is one color.

Was it worth it? For me, as a Mass Effect fan, yes. If you collect obscure ship models from fantasy series, probably also yes. Those people likely make up a limited group, but that is the intended audience.
