Variety reports that the plot of the untitled comedy centers around David and John Hamm’s characters as investors in an electric car company. Though both of them have different goals in mind, the outcome favors Hamm’s businessman who becomes obscenely rich and causes tension beween the two. Keaton, meanwhile, would be playing a character named Stumpo, a crazy businessman who is David’s friend.
It’s Based off of an original idea from David, the treatment was developed by him and his Curb scribes, Alec Berg, Jeff Schafferand David Mandel. The film is supposed to feature a lot of improv, fitting along with the Curb style that I love so much. All of the people involved are seasoned comedians (have you seen Hamm as SERGIO on SNL?) so I’m ALL ABOUT it!!!
Thanks to Collider for the heads up.
