We’ve been waiting to see something from the BBC series for Philip Pullman‘s His Dark Materials since it was first announced back in 2015. Today, we finally get our first tease and it looks pretty, pretty good. Its a tease in every sense of the word, mostly just focusing on character introductions. Speaking of which, the cast includes: Dafne Keen as Lyra Belacqua, Ruth Wilson as Marisa Coulter, James McAvoy as Lord Asriel, Clarke Peters as Dr. Carne and Lin-Manuel Miranda as Lee Scoresby.
No news on the release date yet, but since this is a collaboration between HBO and the BBC, likely it’ll air sometime after Game of Thrones ends.
