The mind behind comic book titles such as Hollowed and Inferi is teaming up with his best friend, and fellow toy hunter, to bring you the next EPIC series from DFAT Comics, PURSUIT OF PLASTIC!
Casey and I have been working on getting this book off the ground for some time now and we are proud to finally bring our love of toy hunting to the funny books! Pursuit of Plastic follows the story of best friends and geeks, Casey and Chris, who embark on an inter-dimensional adventure through different Toy Worlds in order to stop an evil overlord from taking over the Universe. They’re joined by their helpful and sassy robot Arwen, on an escapade that will literally change the course of time and space forever!
The story is a love letter to anyone who wound up their G.I. Joe figure so tight it snapped! Who built a car from LEGO to visit a world they created, or took She-Ra on an adventure with her brother He-Man. It’s an all-ages comic where our adventurers travel to different ‘Toy Worlds’ that embody all of the collectibles you grew up with and more! Think Toy Story meets Indiana Jones with a bit of Star Wars in there for good measure.
