Okay Towelites, remember when I said Frank had sunk to a new low and he couldn’t get any worse? Yeah, well, he did! Now Frank has Carl convinced that he has cancer, just so Frank can meet the Chicago Bulls! He seriously makes me sick! Which I guess is the whole point of his character, so that’s a good thing, right? And poor Carl, he doesn’t even really know what cancer is, but when they went to the “Make a Wish” offices Frank told the lady that he doesn’t even have a year to live. So now Carl thinks he’s dying.
Then you have Lip tracking down sex offenders in the neighborhood because of the encounter that Debs had on the bus. He gets about 20 guys together all equipped with bats and various other weapons to take down the person who lives 3 blocks away, but it turns out that it’s a girl who was a teacher that had an affair with her 8th grade student. They leave her alone, but Lip decides to take matters into his own hands and sets a trap by posing as a 15 year old who just wants to help her out with the yard work. That turns into some creepy stuff, they hook up, but she is one sick lady! When Mandy finds out about it she decides to threaten her and make her move out of the neighborhood. It wasn’t hard considering she had her brothers digging a grave in her front yard and they told her that she had until they were finished to get out, otherwise she would be in the grave. Gotta hand it to the Milkovich’s, they really know how to scare people.
It’s finally obvious now how Mickey feels about Ian! He was so jealous when Lloyd showed up at the party store, and was watching them when they went out to eat. Of course, in classic Mickey style, he beat the crap out of Lloyd, but it was nice to see that he cares, even if it is in an unconventional way.
I was a little nervous about the whole Kevin and V situation with his wife Cheryl there, and the whole thing about Kyle possibly being Kevin’s son (and Deb’s new love!), but that all worked out in the end when we found out that Cheryl was just playing with Kev’s emotions and Kyle wasn’t even her son. This is when V decided to beat her into submission, and make her finally sign the divorce papers.
I’m getting really nervous about the whole Fiona and Jimmy situation though. She’s going to find out really soon what’s been going on with Estafania and Beto and how he’s been lying to her (of course to protect her) but we all know that Fiona isn’t going to see it that way. She trusts him, which is a big deal, and the minute she finds out that he’s been lying she’s going to lose it and I have a feeling something bad is going to happen to one of them.
Next week’s episode, The Helpful Gallaghers, delves into the relationship between Mickey and Ian, Fiona must find something out about what’s been going on with Jimmy and Estafania and Sheila (Joan Cusack) propositions Frank for some “playful” bedroom fun since she’s not getting what she needs from Jody. I can’t wait to see where they take this show next!
Till next time Towelites!
