Even after playing the Beta for Star Wars Battlefront, I wasn’t quite convinced I was going to give it my money. The game played great, the music was epic, and most importantly, it FELT like Star Wars. So why didn’t I throw money at Disney and EA right then? It was that I only played a snippet of a larger game. I didn’t get inside of a vehicle, I didn’t get to play as Luke, and I wasn’t thinking that the game was worth $60 bucks just based off what I played.
All of that changed when I watched the Launch trailer. Seeing Vader throw his lightsaber to kill someone, hearing Han Solo say that he can take on the Empire by himself, seeing The Emperor shoot lightning at Luke Skywalker. Thank the Maker this game is going to be Epic! I just preordered mine from GameStop (though I’m usually against this practice because it’s giving in to shitty game making, but it’s STAR WARS.)
