Fans have been clamouring for another chapter in the very popular Star Wars: Battlefront series from EA and at Celebration we got our first dose of the upcoming video game! Watch the official trailer below and check out the details after!
Here are the details from the game that have been revealed so far via the AP:
- Multiplayer battles for up to 40 players pitting the Rebel Alliance against the Galactic Empire
- Classic locations such as Endor, Hoth, Tatooine, and Sullust.
- Play as Darth Vader and Boba Fett
- Traverse the Star Wars universe on foot or speeder bikes, or even an AT-AT
- Take to the sky with ships including TIE Fighters, X-Wings, or the Millennium Falcon
- Free DLC level called “Battle of Jakku” due to launch in early December. This content is based on the upcoming movie, Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens
We will actually get to take part in the battle that happened on Jakku! That’s pretty awesome and now we know why all those ships are in ruins in the trailer! Plus the opportunity to play as Vader and Boba Fett?! Count me in!
Star Wars: Battlefront will launch on PS4, XBOX One, and PC on November 17th.
