This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for Star Wars fans. We have our first look at teaser footage from Episode VII: The Force Awakens! J. J. Abrams was one of my dream choices as a director and though it’s just a teaser, I couldn’t be more excited for the film. It’s a year away, and that only makes this trailer more bittersweet. Check it out below and enjoy your first look at the continuation of the Saga!

After watching this footage, I can truly say that I can’t even wrap my brain around what we’re about to see next year. This wasn’t a ‘teaser’ this was an expression of Abrams’ love for all things Star Wars and Disney laughing maniacally as they dive into mountains of money, a la Scrooge McDuck. This was nothing what I expected and I loved every second of it.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is written by Lawrence Kasdan and is directed by J. J. Abrams. The film is due out December 18th, 2015 and will star: John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o, Gweondoline Christie, Max von Sydow, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.
