In the immortal words of Han Solo, Martin Fillery must have “delusions of grandeur.” The UK native has a life-sized AT-ST and has put it up for sale on Ebay because his GIRLFRIEND doesn’t like it. Use the force man, you don’t need a girlfriend telling you what AT-ST you can own, what Star Wars diorama can take over your living room.
Fillery explained in an interview:
[box_light]I think my girlfriend is starting to get a bit worried about me. I’ve always been a bit mad, and I love sci-fi stuff, but my spending on props is going through the roof. …The Scout Walker is amazing, but I realised pretty quickly that it was just too big to use as on stage, so I’m selling it so I can get more toys.[/box_light]
My favorite part of these pictures is that the dude has a life-sized Hulk and TARDIS at his house. Yet, the AT-ST is what his girlfriend is upset about!? You should have known what you were getting into when you pulled up to this guys driveway. Anyway, it’s up for sale HERE. It’s actually pretty reasonable at 9,800 pounds, other than you’re going to get killed in shipping costs from the UK.
