We’re a whiles away from seeing Terminator: Genesis, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited for it. No one is more pumped up about the project than Arnold Schwarzenegger though. The actor has been keen on stepping back into the robotic feet of the T-800, and today he gives us an update on how he’ll show up in the film.

In an interview with MTV,

“The way that the character is written, it’s a machine underneath,” Schwarzenegger continued. “It’s this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator’s flesh ages, just like any other human being’s flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages.”

He also mentions the role of Time Travel in the film:

“Terminator deals a lot with time travel, so there will be a younger T-800,” Arnold Schwarzenegger added, “and then what that model does later on when it gets reprogrammed, and who gets ahold of him. So it will be all kinds of interesting twists in the movie, but I feel so good.”

As more news comes on the project, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here at DFAT! Come with US if you want to live!

Terminator: Genesis will be directed by Alan Taylor and due out next year. The film stars: Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, and Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Terminator.
