Last month, we showed off pictures from the upcoming Terminator Genisys film. Unfortunately, none of them included our favorite T-800, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Today, we’re going to change that by sharing our first look at a battle-damaged Arnie from the film. Thanks to cClinkenbeard’s Twitter account, we’re happy to have the picture below.

It looks as if the robot has seen better days and we’re in for a lot of action in this upcoming film. I can’t wait to see how this film goes, as I thought that Terminator Salvation looked amazing until I sat down for two hours and wanted to know where my mind went. I have faith with the return of Arnold and Alan Taylor behind the camera, so let’s hope it only exceeds expectations!

Here’s the Official Synopsis:

The beginning of Terminator: Genisys … is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes‘ Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Divergent‘s Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post-apocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor’s mother, Sarah, from a Terminator programmed to kill her so she won’t ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like what he expected.

Terminator Genisys will be directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) and written by Laeta Kalogridis (Avatar, Shutter Island) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry). The film stars: Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Matt Smith, Jason Clarke, and Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Terminator. The film is due out July 1st, 2015.
