One last panel to talk about but probably the most important. The Clone Wars redefined what it meant to be a Star Wars fan by giving us, for the first time, a modern cartoon that would surpass the storytelling in the movies. Not many people are fans of the prequels, go ahead you can make all the excuses you want, but it’s the truth. The Clone Wars didn’t start off well either and looked doomed to join it’s predecessors. Thanks to Dave Filoni it became one of the greatest entries in a science fiction franchise ever. This year at the Star Wars Celebration Chicago we got a taste of what’s to come in the final season of the show, so check out the official panel right here if you have’t watched it.
Wow, that was a lot of fun, like getting back together with your best friends and having the time of your lives! Oh and hey just a quick public service announcement, just like you can stop calling the DCEU that fan made-up name, you can stop calling this season 7. We all know that the ‘Lost Episodes’ do not fill in as season 6 and so here we are. The sixth and final season of The Clone Wars is set to debut on the Disney + streaming service after its launch this November. Personally I knew that they would go back and finish this story, and after watching the advances in animation in Rebels the hope grew that they would finish this show off in grand fashion. I can’t wait to see the Battle of Mandalore, the return of Darth Maul so we can watch a mo-cap Ray Park go to town and of course who can deny more clones especially when they are dubbed the ‘Bad Batch’?! All of these things and more are coming to our TV screens and I cannot wait!
