I loved the first Purge movie. It was an original take on the horror genre, and with a budget of $2million, I think the filmmakers made it feel bigger than it was. The one complaint could be, that with the limited budget, the entire action takes place in a house. The Purge: Anarchy is going to blow the doors off of that and expanded The Founding Fathers vision out to the rest of the world. The trailer below shows us some of what we can expect when we see the effects of The Purge on a grander scale.

The Purge 2: Anarchy opens on June 20th. It stars: Frank Grillo, Michael K. Williams, Carmen Ejogo, Zach Gilford, Kiele Sanchez, and Keith Stanfield.
