Unfortunately for Chancellor Branson, when the Sorcery School for Unsociable Youths went into Magenta Alert everyone ran straight for the spare enchanted brooms, feather dusters, and even the one pleasantly refurbished mid-century modern Wizard Bachelor in his prime. All that was left was the damned rug. He adjusted himself as the rigid spine of the semi-living decor squirmed beneath him.

Okay, I’ll be the first person to admit that DC has far too many “Super” characters in the fold right now. I mean; Superman, Lex Luther as Superman, This New Superman, Power Girl, Lois Lane as Superwoman, and superboy. And I’m pretty sure that’s not even all of them. That being said, this title caught my eye. Let’s see how it goes.

I really dig the team they are building in this series. For the first time, I’m getting really invested in members of the Bat-family. Weird. DC might be onto something.

I can’t really tell what this issue is about. Well, I have an impression, but I don’t think they’d show the night it all went wrong for Old Man Logan. Or would they? Probably, that sounds about right.

I loved the last issue so much. It sets up a really interesting arc. So far this series has yet to let me down. Basically every arc is a solid jumping on point, so grab the last issue and jump on this train.

The last issue of this comic had some fantastic Murdock badassery moments. Also, New-York- Born-Red-Suited-Hero-Team-Up? YES! (Okay, I guess Daredevil isn’t technically in a red suit anymore. Whatever.)

Holy potatoes. DC is knocking it out of the fucking park right now. What the fly shit? Anyway, this series is awesome, good luck finding a copy though.

The only way this comic could get any better would be if Sonic the Hedgehog were in the comic. Okay, no, I take that back. That would make everyone want to kill themselves. Maybe not. Probably though, almost certainly.

This is one of the prettiest comics out on shelves today. Nguyen is a master at his craft. It doesn’t hurt that he has an amazing partner in crime. Do yourself a favor. Don’t not read this.
In the distance the Chancellor could see a vibrant magenta hue, just beneath the horizon. It was no doubt the botany wing succumbing the the rampant, wild magic that was overcoming the crippled castle. Surely the purple goo-like spells would be seeping slowly into every crack like fabulous molasses. He cursed as he thought of all the bumblewort that would be wasted due to a few reckless demi-sorcerers who were acting out against him. A familiar thought entered his mind. “I hate this job.”
