Hey Towelites! We have a lot of footage from this week that we’d like to share that’s got us super excited! We have some new stuff for the kids, with Despicable Me 2. Walking Dead: Survival Instinct shows off it’s launch trailer for our video game fans; and for our adult readers, we have a whole lotta horror going on! Check out the trailers below!

Despicable Me 2 is one of the movies that I’m looking forward to the most this year. I loved the first one and I like that they’re adding a love-interest for Gru. Plus, all his zany gadgets make me giggle. Can’t wait. The film is due out July 3rd.

I’ve always been a fan of Famke Janssen, ever since GoldenEye. Now you add her in the mix with werewolves and Eli Roth, you have a hit on your hands. Below is the newest footage from Hemlock Grove. It premieres on Netflix April 19th.

Walking Dead: Survival Instinct came out yesterday and this footage makes it look a BIT better, but no reason to go right out and by it. If you’re a huge fan of the Dixon Brothers though, maybe that’s all you need.

I didn’t even bother watching Hatchet II, because I felt that the first movie was pretty boring and that Adam Green wasn’t the second coming of horror directors. I’m of the minority in that opinion, because people keep giving him money to make movies. Below is the trailer for Hatchet III, it’s due out June 14th.

The Colony stars Bill Paxton and Laurence Fishburne. Even if there wasn’t a trailer to go along with it, I’d probably watch whatever the two of them were in. Luckily, the movie is about a bunch of feral cannibals that attack during an Ice Age, and it looks pretty creepy. For now, it only has Canadian distribution and is due out April 12th.

This final trailer is actually a music video for a band called Biting Elbows. The song is not bad, but the footage literally blows me away. I have never seen something that looks like Crank, but even more on crack. Directed by Ilya Naishuller out of Russia, the song is called “Bad MotherF*cker”. It’s the future of FPS video games.
