Good morning Towelites! Not a bad week for you movie buffs out there! We get some solid releases for Towelites of all ages! Check ’em out!
Edgar Wright’s final film in his Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, The World’s End is the big release for the week along with an awesome three-disc set featuring all of the films including Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead! Now it’s time to get to work on Ant-Man Mr Wright!
The feel-good, drug smuggling “family” comedy We are the Millers is available if you need a good laugh this week, though I still recommend you go for Edgar Wright for some true laughs.
For you tiny Towelites out there the follow-up to Pixar’s hit Cars, Planes flies onto shelves today. From what I’ve heard this film pales in comparison. Though you know that these films look great in 3D so if you are a fan of the format you won’t want to miss it. What’s next Trains? Then John Candy can come back from the dead when you say all three of the movies’ names in front of a mirror.
The classic cult film Night of the Comet gets the Blu-ray treatment this week. If you aren’t familiar here’s the run down! A comet wipes out most of life on Earth, leaving two Valley Girls to fight the evil types who survive. Sounds pretty groovy right?
This week for TV releases:
Star Trek The Next Generation looks very impressive on Blu-ray and today we get Season 5! Also look for SyFy’s hit show Lost Girl Season 3 for those of you who can’t get enough of the Fae and their supernatural friends!
