Hello Towelites, and welcome to the first Tuesday Blu’s-day of the second year for Don’t Forget a Towel.  Sadly, there is not much out this week.  But it is what it is, and here it is…

G.I. Joe: Retaliation comes out today, in all its versions (including 3D).  I’ll start by saying that Snake Eyes is one of the coolest characters…EVER.  He may be the only reason one would want to even watch this.  Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough.  I couldn’t even make it through the first one, so not sure what to think considering the bad reviews on this one.  Which is too bad, cause I actually like Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum and Bruce Willis.

The one good thing we actually have this week is Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox.  I have yet to see this, but I’ve heard nothing but good things about it, and I like that it focus’ on The Flash, who I feel like is one of the more underrated super heroes (especially when dealing with more than the fact that he’s just fast).  Maybe our fellow DAFTer can chime in a little on this one, as it’s right up his alley!

Other then that e get blu-ray releases of a couple Star Trek: The next Generation, which include Season 4 and Redemption.

Finally, in the classics, we get Francis Ford Coppola’s Peggy Sue Got Married in blu-ray, starring Kathleen Turner and Nicolas Cage.

To make this weeks post seem better, gonna remind everyone about the amazing Legend of Korra (sequel show the Avatar: the Last Airbender) came out last week.  I’ve already bought it, and re-watched it.  I’ve already fallen in love with it all over again, finding it even better than the first time I saw it.  I’ve already been hypnotized by the soundtrack, and already downloaded it as well.  And though it might not be as good as The Last Airbender, it is only a minor notch below it.  So, don’t hesitate on this one… this show is amazing.

Thats it for the week.  Until next time!
