Hey all, and welcome to a wonderful Tuesday full of all kinds of releases.  This week is full of everything.  Only a few in movies, but its a big one; and we have plenty of TV seasons to more than make up for it.

So, let’s start.  We have World War Z, starring Brad Pitt.  Based on the book of the same name, the movie only focuses on 1 part of the book, and basically expands it into an action film.  This gave it mediocre reviews, and personally, it looked over the top to me.  Do I want to see it though?  Hell yeah… it looks like at the very least, it’s entertaining.

Next film is HBO’s Behind The Candelabra starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon.  I never caught this on HBO, and I’m about to cancel it (at least until Game of Thrones season 4 comes back), but I heard this was pretty good.  Well, most HBO is pretty good, so…

We also get The Bling Ring (directed by Sophia Coppola), Doctor Who: The Ice Warriors, and a re-release of a classic, George Romero’s Day of Dead Collectors Edition.

Day of the Dead

On the TV side, we have season 5 of The Mentalist, season 2 of Grimm, and two shows we’ve actually been covering here on Don’t Forget a Towel; Season 1 of Bates Motel (starring Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore)

Bates Motel

and season 1 Arrow (starring Stephen Amell).

To wrap things up we know of two upcoming blu-ray collections that will get you super excited.  For one, next month on the 15th we get Pacific Rim.  It’s obviously coming out in every version (blu-ray, dvd, 3D), but best of all is in this 3D gift pack version, which includes this cool looking robot figurine.

We’re also getting news on Breaking Bad (starring Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul) working on a complete series box set;  this features TONS of extras (55 hours), including ‘making of’ documentaries, conversations with the actors and much more.  Coolest part is, the “box” set is more the shape of a barrel (ie the one they stole in season one).  Check it out below.

Well, that’s it for the week.  We’ll let you know when those two upcoming ones actually come out.  Take it easy…
