Happiest of all the Tuesdays everybody! We’re getting ready for a wild ride of cinematic adventures featuring robots, heroes from hell, and the weirdest of sciences. Learn more about what’s coming out on this Tuesday Blusday below!
Weird Science (Blu-ray)
John Hughes will forever be one of the most prolific writer/directors of all-time. The dude knew how to write teenagers like no other and even if things get completely crazy, like the movie above, he still knew how to ground it and keep the voice of the characters throughout. I love this movie and thank Arrow for releasing a special-edition filled with extras.
Alita: Battle Angel (4K, Blu-ray, Digital)
I didn’t get to catch this movie in the theatre but I love James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez, put them together and I can’t imagine not being blown away from the results.
Hellboy 2019 (4K, Blu-ray, Digital)
The Guillermo Del Toro films probably can’t be touched but I’ve also liked Neil Marshall since Dog Soldiers and that’s gotta be worth giving this movie a try right?
The Doors (4K, Blu-ray, Digital)
Break on through to the 4k release of The Doors. I’m super excited as this film is pretty pitch perfect and looks great even on DVD.
Missing Link (Blu-ray, Digital)
I didn’t really think this movie looked all that good, that being said, Laika is still kicking major butt in the stop-motion animation realm and it’s worth taking a look at it.
Critters Attack! (Blu-ray, Digital)
It’s taking 30 years to get a Gremlins sequel/prequel/SOMETHING and yet we have a new Critters movie. Sure.
Troop Beverly Hills (Blu-ray)
Jenny Lewis and Shelly Long in a film together. The cuteness just oozes from this film. I remember growing up with it and being a big fan and it’s finally getting a blu-ray release. Yay!
