Who would have thought that in a world saturated by comic book films, that Glass would be taking the #1 spot at the Box Office this weekend? Well, everyone kinda figured it at this point, but I’m sure that M. Night Shyamalan is very happy that it did. Almost 20 years since Unbreakable, the director made a come back with last years, Split, and Glass caps off the trilogy in a spectacular way. The film was reported to be made for $23 million and grosses $40 million here in the states while another $43 million was earned overseas. I’d say he is officially back in The Hollywood spotlight.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly was the other big winner this weekend by earning $10 million and bringing it’s domestic totally to over $21 million. Not too shabby for a 2-D animated film on a franchise that’s almost as old as myself. The rest of the Top Ten stayed pretty consistent with Aquaman and Into the Spider-Verse rounding out the Top Five films. You can see them all in the Top Ten below.

1.Glass $40,586,000
2. The Upside    $15,670,000
3. Dragon Ball Super: Broly     $10,657,442
4. Aquaman $10,330,000
5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse    $7,255,000
6. A Dog’s Way Home      $7,110,000
7. Escape Room      $5,275,000
8. Mary Poppins Returns     $5,244,000
9. Bumblebee   $4,660,000
10. On the Basis of Sex     $3,965,000

Next week, we have a new take on the King Arthur tale in The Kid Who Would Be King. The film looks to be a lot of fun and it’ll be interesting to see how it shakes things up at the Box Office. Found out just how much it makes on the next edition of Weekend Roundup.
