Aquaman continues surfing it up and breaking records at the Box Office. The film was #1 for it’s 3rd weekend in a row, pulling in another $30 million. The movie is now at $940 million Worldwide and is now the DCEU’s biggest film. It easily bested it’s predecessors of Dawn of Justice ($873.6 million) Wonder Woman ($821.8 million), and Suicide Squad($746.8 million).
The premiere of the new horror film, Escape Room, did pretty good this weekend as well. It landed in 2nd place with $18 million. Given the budget was half of that, we’ll call that a win. The rest of the Top Ten is below.
1. Aquaman $30,700,000
2. Escape Room $18,000,000
3. Mary Poppins Returns $15,773,000

Next weekend we get the release of what looks like one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, A Dog’s Way Home. The trailer shows what I believe is the whole movie. Will it be able to push anything off the Top Ten? Find out in the next edition of Weekend Roundup.
