Produced for a meager $10 million dollars, Halloween is continuing its reign over the Box Office this weekend by nabbing another $32 million. The film is now sitting at $26 million Worldwide and destroyed its competition once again. Just goes to show you that people want their familiar slashes back and that making a GOOD movie is better than churning out a stupid one. If you build it (good), they will come.
The film was able to stave off the advances of A Star is Born and Venom, which still did pretty great themselves earning $14 million and $10 million respectively. Unlike the debut of Hunter Killer which took the 4th spot, earning only $6.5 million. The rest of the Top Ten can be seen below!
1. Halloween $32,045,000
2. A Star Is Born $14,145,000
3. Venom $10,800,000
4. Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween $7,500,000
5. Hunter Killer $6,650,000
6. The Hate U Give $5,100,000
7. First Man $4,935,000
8. Smallfoot $4,750,000
9. Night School $3,225,000

Next weekend, it’s very likely that Halloween will be #2 as Bohemian Rhapsody makes it’s premiere. The currently has lukewarm reviews but I think its going to be a movie where audiences need to see it for themselves to truly judge it. Find out if I’m right in the next edition of Weekend Roundup!
