In it’s second week at the Box Office, Deadpool is yet again the #1 film in America. It had a 58% drop from it’s first weekend and brought in another $55mil; making it’s total at $235mil here in America. That’s amazing news that it’s now the biggest X-Men franchise film on a budget that’s about a 4th of the usual cost for a superhero film.

The other debuts came from Risen and The Witch. The debuted at 3rd and 4th spots, with $11.8mil and $8.6mil, respectively. Given that they both had pretty small budgets themselves, it’s a bit of a win for the both of them. You can see the rest of the Top Ten below.

1. Deadpool—$55,000,000

2. Kung Fu Panda 3—$12,500,000

3. Risen—$11,800,000

4. The Witch—$8,685,270

5. How To Be Single—$8,220,000

6. Race—$7,275,000

7. Zoolander 2—$5,500,000

8. Star Wars: The Force Awakens—$3,386,000

9. The Revenant—$3,800,000

10. Hail, Ceasar!—$2,635,165

Next weekend, we have the premiere of Eddie the Eagle. The film stars Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman and is making a lot of waves in the film circuits. It’s getting great reviews and while I don’t think that it will topple Deadpool; I certainly think it will premiere at #2. Find out if I’m right on the next edition of Weekend Roundup.
