There really isn’t even much to report from this weekends Box Office standings. It was an abysmal weekend, and it didn’t seem like audiences really cared to go to the theatres. Those that did, went and saw Identity Thief, because it eeked out a #1 spot with just $14.mil dollars. Newcomers, Snitch and Dark Skies didn’t fare as good as that, with $13mil and $8.8mil accordingly.

This year has already been pretty bad, though 2013 overall is going to have some AMAZING movies coming out. Next week, doesn’t really give me much hope at salvaging the Box Office though. Jack the Giant Slayer is due out, and unless people appreciate throwbacks to the 90’s with their CGI; I don’t think it’s going to bring in a lot of cash.
