Disney is having a grand old time at the Box Office recently. Star Wars The Force Awakens destroyed the Box Office when it premiered in December, and less than three Months later, it has another huge hit with Zootopia. The film only dropped 33% with it’s second release at the Box Office and took in another $50mil. It’s already made $142.5mil Domestic, and over $440mil Worldwide.

The other winner was the #2 movie, 10 Cloverfield Lane; which opened to $25.2mil. That doesn’t quite seem a ton of money compared to Zootopia, but for a film that only had word of mouth and a low amount of advertising; I think this is fantastic. Plus, I’m pretty sure this movie didn’t cost a ton of money to make. The other premiere this weekend was The Brothers Grimsby, a film that had great reviews, but only made $3.1mil. It likely won’t even do as good as Gods of Egypt, and that’s saying a lot. The rest of the Top Ten are below.

Next weekend, is the release of Allegiant, which is sure to probably do very mediocre and have people continuing to scratch their heads wondering how those films even were allowed to complete a trilogy. Find out if I’m right on the next edition of Weekend Roundup!
