It looks like the Noam Murro-directed sequel to 300 took the top spot at the Box Office this weekend. Though it opened to very tepid reviews, that didn’t hold back the fans of the original to come out and check out the simulated blood and guts!

The other big winner was newcomer, Mr. Peabody & Sherman. The film brought in $32.5 and attracted the family crowd. The rest of the Box Office results are below!

Need for Speed and Veronica Mars open next week. It’ll be interesting to see if Aaron Paul can establish himself as an action star. It’s too bad VM is only a limited release, but I’m sure just showing by up in theaters, it’ll make back it’s $6mil budget.
