In it’s third weekend at the Box Office, Marvel’s Civil War has finally been dethroned by a bunch of Angry Birds. The animated feature made it’s debut with $39mil and took down the Disney behemoth. You can’t feel too bad for Captain America and friends as the superhero classic also happened to pass $1billion in Worldwide Box Office sales this past week.
The other premieres of the weekend didn’t fare as well, as Neighbors 2 and The Nice Guys took positions 3 and 4 in the Top Ten wiith $21.8mil and $11.3mil respectively. Neither one of them met studio expectations, but at least they didn’t have opening weekends like The Huntsman sequel. The rest of the Top Ten are below, take a look!
