Don’t call it a comeback as The Incredibles 2 shatters the Box Office by having the greatest opening weekend for an animated movie of all-time. The original film came out 14 years ago but since that time the fans have been clamoring for the sequel. Luckily for all of us, the new film is just as amazing as the first one and in many ways through the technological advances; it’s even better. The Incredibles 2 took in $180 million domestically and another $50 million Worldwide.

This did nothing to help out the other premieres of Tag and Superfly which took in $14.6 million and $6.3 million respectively. It was also easily able to bump last week’s winner, Ocean’s 8, down to 2nd place with $19.5 million. You can see the rest of the Top Ten below.
