It’s been 13 years after Pixar’s Finding Nemo, but it seems that audiences are still in love with animated fix because Finding Dory just made Box Office history. The debuted with $136.2mil which made it the biggest opening weekend for an animated film of all-time. It was also able to secure around $50mil in foreign sales as well.

The premiere of The Rock and Kevin Hart’s new film, Central Intelligience, was #2 this past weekend by earning $34.5mil. I don’t this will mean we’re in sequel territory for the film; but it’s not bad numbers for an action comedy. Last week’s #1 film, The Conjuring, dropped down to #3 by taking in another $15.6mil; bringing it’s total revenue to over $73mil. You can see the rest of the Top Ten below.

1. Finding Dory $136.2 million

2. Central Intelligence $34.5 million

3. The Conjuring 2 $15.6 million

4. Now You See Me 2 $9.7 million

5. Warcraft $6.5 million

6. X-Men: Apocalypse $5.2 million

7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows $5.2 million

8. Me Before You $4.2 million

9. Alice Through the Looking Glass $3.6 million

10. Captain America: Civil War $2.3 million

Next weekend, we see the return of another franchise in the form of Independence Day: Resurgence. It’s been 20 years since the original film debuted and it’s going to be very interesting to see how fans react to the new one. I have my bets placed on seeing Finding Dory being #1 again; but I’m really hoping that the pull of Jeff Goldblum proves me wrong. Find out what happens on the next edition of Weekend Roundup.
