I wasn’t really sure how this Weekend Roundup was going to go, yet 2 Guns took the #1 spot with over $27mil at the Box Office. Not too shabby figuring the film only cost around $60mil and they will easily make that money back. Much better than the R.I.P.D. which isn’t even on the Top 10.
Rounding out the rest of the list were solid numbers from The Wolverine and The Conjuring. Yet, the other debut, Smurfs 2, only brought in $18mil and failed way shorter than the original. Next week, we get Matt Damon’s Elysium, and I have high hopes for it.
