Greetings on this Memorial Day Weekend 2016. I hope you made it outside of the house to enjoy some time with friends, but if you didn’t, you won’t find judgment here. And if you’re one of those people who worked all weekend, I salute you.
This week we’ve got some big names hitting your local console or PC, or whatever.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine is out, and for all the hype my friends have been having for this title, I thought it was already out (and you could play it at PAX East, but…not my cup of tea).
I will concede that the graphics are gorgeous and, from what I’m told, the story compelling. I’ll admit that the trailer had me intrigued, but I’ll probably wait for a Game of the Year Edition or Ultimate Edition or something along those lines.
This week, Dead Island: Riptide is out and with that, also the Dead Island Definitive Edition which contains all of the DLC for Dead Island and also Dead Island Retro Revenge brawler. Be advised though, apparently the PS4 disc only has Dead Island and the other content has to be downloaded from the interwebs using redemption codes.
Hitman’s saga continues with Hitman – Episode 3: Marrakesh. If you’re into assassinating in an exotic locale, this may just be the trip you’re searching for.
