Not that this should be a surprise to anyone, but Bryan Singer will be directing the next X-Men film, X-Men Apocalypse. Teased at the end of Days of Future Past, the next mutant installment will feature the biggest X-Men bad of them all Apocalypse!

 

But that’s not all! According to Deadline, the film will feature the characters first introduced in X-Men First Class but will be recasting the original characters when they introduce younger versions of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, and others. Apocalypse will be set ten years after Days of Future Past, so recasting makes total sense. We may even see the beginning of Channing Tatum’s Gambit in this one, we can only hope.
