Yes, we’re all stuck at home and it sucks; but there’s some bright spots here and there. One such, is the Zenescope Entertainment Virtual Con. From the 15th – 19th of April, Zenescope will be highlighting some of its creators. One such, is illustrator, Sun Khamunaki. Learn more about the event and Khamanaki below!
Zenescope Entertainment is proud to announce that illustrator, Sun Khamunaki, will be appearing as a guest on Wednesday – April 15th from 2:00PM – 3:00PM EST during its second Virtual Con! We will be hosting an interview with Sun, and will open it up to fans for Q&A afterwards. We will also be selling limited quantities of special exclusives & variant covers she worked on!
Sun Khamunaki is a Canadian comic book cover artist. She specializes in pinup, science-fiction, horror and fantasy paintings. Sun has applied her artistic skill to portray popular fictional characters in her own stylistic vision.
She first became known by her Lady Death covers for Coffin Comics written by creator Brian Pulido and has since then done a variety of projects for Coffin Comics including Zack the Zombie Exterminator and La Muerta. Since then, she has done covers for the Grimm Fairy Tales series The Black Knight, Gretel, Van Helsing and has various upcoming projects for Zenescope Entertainment. She has done covers for Rothic Comics including Ancient Dreams and Vancouver island’s Hangman Comics Monsterella. Sun has illustrated the cover art on London May’s Devilution Album. Her work has been showcased in the August 2017 Imagine Fx magazine Xpose which includes today’s most outstanding digital artists.
In between travelling from one comic convention to the next, she is working on her graphic novel Ormus and a collection of traditional pieces for a gallery exhibition.
