With things ramping up for an exciting second outing for the Titans TV show on DC Universe, we have news that Batman/Bruce Wayne‘s role will be expanded. We first got a look at the Dark Knight, not a real look but close enough, in the first season’s finale when Dick has to battle his former mentor in a fantasy situation created by Trigon. Game of Thrones actor Iain Glen (Ser Jorah Mormont) will portray everyone’s favorite detective and I am looking forward to seeing how this role is treated.
It’s a huge step to cast this role seeing that WB hasn’t even announced who will be playing Batman in their movie-verse. Whatever the case is this is very exciting news and DC is really making a huge effort to bring their characters to life on the streaming service. Here is the official role description:
After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success.
CAN. NOT. WAIT. The series does not have a return date as of yet but there have been some major moves in the casting department as of late so that is very exciting. Keep it tuned to DFAT for more news as it happens!
